Paste into password fields

Hi all, not sure if this is just a tech limitation but I don't seem to be able to paste into the password fields in the change password or forgotten password dialogs.

I'm not sure if it's just the browser/OS combo I'm using (Waterfox/MacOS) but it makes using a password manager with generated passwords impossible, reducing overall account security.

If it isn't down to the browser/OS combo, is there any reason behind disallowing this or is it just one of those things?
