Password

Hi, as a new member I’m not convinced that my current problem is not something of my own doing but I am unable to work out what I’m doing or not.

So far today, well yesterday now, I have had to reset my password six times after being notified that I had not entered the correct one. This is despite me making a note of each password I have made. Also there have been occasions when my email address has been deemed not to be a valid one, which is blatantly incorrect as the link to change passwords has been sent there eventually. Thanks in advance for any help given with this.

Some mobile devices, when you type in your password, add a space after it and it is rejected.

That is definitely not the cause in this case and I’ve just had to request yet another password change to sign in.

Have you tried signing in with your username instead of your email address?

Tried both formats, my email address has now been validated but still having to change passwords every time I sign in

8th password now. PH insists it’s nothing from their end but having no trouble at all with the umpteen other passwords I use.
Nor have any other site informed me that my email address was invalid....then sent msgs to it????????

You're really keen to sign up to a website that's making it this difficult to sign up There's not anything that would make it tricky, like a banned IP is there?

On the same one as yesterday now, the 9th, and have done nothing different my end. Seems to have been resolved.......

Do you sign out everytime you leave?

I never sign out and only very occasionally does PH as me to sign in, maybe once every 3 months or so. You will only need four new passwords a year on that basis

Is your password "mybrainurts"?

No, I tick the remember me box each time I have entered a new password. And as I posted previously it seems to have been resolved now.
