Not my thread, but I can't see anything in the rules, but is it part of the moderators remit to close a thread because they individually decide it's run its course?

I am of course talking about the two buckets thread.

There are a lot of threads much longer and more ridiculous, so wondered why this one was cut short, it was comedy gold

The thread has required a fair bit of moderation and had deteriorated to the point of posting YouTube videos criticising other posters cars.
Decided enough is enough.

Ok no worries, I just wondered how bad I had to be, obviously it got worse!
