Hi, I'm trying to find a post I made in that little doozy, CV19 - Cure worse than the disease? (Vol 13), but when I Google, I get a thread page with my profile name saying "there is nothing to see here".

Could you explain what this means? I can't imagine any of my posts have been deleted but I'm trying to trace a few posts to continue a discussion.

Thanks

FiF

Above link leads to volume 14, that's the current thread. There's a link on page 1 to vol 13. Which leads to here

A number of us have a had a similar problem finding other threads using search. Someone explained it as follows.

It's not just you - a couple of days ago I tried to find the Prince Andrew thread and came across the same Moderator's forum type link and raised exactly the same question in another thread on the topic.

All NP&E threads have<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow"/> tags on the page, so they will be specifically excluded from Google results, including the PH special search. The weird Moderator's forum empty threads don't, so they will show up.
So it's not just someone's inability to find a thread, if that post is correct, repeat if correct, then it seems there could be some setting in place that prevents finding of certain threads, even using the provided search engine. Make of that that you will, no further comment from me.
