Classifieds "image not available".

I'm having a problem viewing numerous listings in the classifieds. Some listings are fine, but on all the ones where the problem happens, the symptoms are the same...

• Main image doesn't show - there's just a grey box.
• First four thumbnails do show.
• All remaining thumbnails are grey and have the text "image not available" overlaid.

If I click on any of the thumbnails - the ones with pics or the text - the large image remains grey.

I'm using a MacBook Pro running OS 10.13.6 and the problem is present in Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

There's a similar problem on my iPhone 8 running iOS 14.6, again in Firefox, Safari and Chrome....

• Main image shows when the first thumbnail is selected but turns grey if any other thumbnail is selected.
• First two thumbnails show images, third one has the "image not available" text, fourth one shows the image, every subsequent one has "image not available" text.

As the problem appears to be identical on numerous completely unrelated listings - i.e., not all listings submitted by the same seller - I can only surmise that the affected listings are ones that are being pulled across from another car sales site which isn't quite singing from the same sheet. A bit of filtering suggests that it's happening on some - but not all - trade listings but not on private listings.

Thanks for raising this, we have been making some changes to how advert images are stored, which has affected a small number of ads. The tech team is aware of this and currently working on it.
