Resurrect old account?

I was an active member for many years but have not been around for a while, I tried to get back in and none of the passwords I thought might work actually did.
I no longer have access to the email account I registered so cannot even do a password reset.
Is there any way I can resurrect the old account
My old user name was Corpulent Tosser

If you no longer have access to your account or the email address that's on it, the final thing we can do for you is check a proof of identity against the address that's on your account.

Please email us at [e-mail] with a proof of identity such as your drivers licence with the address on your account and we can change the email address for you. Failing that, there isn't anything we can do to validate your identity I'm afraid.

email sent I hope you can validate the old account, if not I understand and will just stick with this new one.
