Was trying to read through some of the thread on the Abu Dhabi F1 debacle (amused me that so many kept posting during the race). Since it was after the event, I wanted to cut to the reactions to the end of the race. Each page top and bottom only shows a couple of page numbers either side of the current page, and the last couple of page numbers (well over 300). It turned out the stuff I wanted started around page 130. I had tried paging through the numbers quickly, a couple at a time but would eventually get locked out with a "too many requests" message. I eventually got there, by 'speed reading' every other page, but by the time I got to where I wanted, I had spent so much time faffing about on it, that by the time I had actually read some of what I wanted, I had to come out, and get on with my life. Tried going back (faster) later....."too many requests".
Am I just being thick, or is there really no way round this problem?

Overtype the current page number at the top of the page and hit return. The process is probably similar on a mobileWas trying to read through some of the thread on the Abu Dhabi F1 debacle (amused me that so many kept posting during the race).
