Lost signs when editing

Just noticed that when editing my post, all the £ signs from the post were lost after editing. What started as £895, became 895 (with an additional space instead of the £, after the edit). There were values in the post in a few places and they all went. Edited again and put them back in and all ok, clicked on edit again then previewed before re-posting and they were all gone again. I then cancelled rather than re-posting.

You see, I looked at the recent thread titles to see if it has been reported. And there it wasn't! Although it wasn't, and now it isn't in my title either! Although it was when I posted

I have the same issue with the £ sign in posts.
