Free classified ads for members who joined back in the day

I might be imagining it but did/does this still exist. Years ago when the car ads first went paid for. I seem to remember that forum members that joined before a certain date would still be able to list personal cars free?

....is it just me?

You should be able to get free ads.

Free listings is enabled on your account, but I've tried the classic turn it off and on again to see if that fixes it for you. Let me know if not!
