Is there an issue with PH Mail?

I have had a lot of duplicate messages from people sending me a message through the forum. I am expecting contact so it's not a scam etc. but what is normally just a one-time message to my email address and then all replies are handled as a normal email convo but i seem to get a message multiple times (current record is 6 of the same message in reasonably quick succession).

Thanks for raising this - we were not able to reproduce any technical bugs which would cause what was described, we suspect what caused this was through some non-standard user behaviour upon contacting you e.g. continually refreshing/resending the ‘Email me’ form.

If this continues to happen to you, or if other members notice the same behaviour, please do let us know, and providing as much info as possible as to what is being seen (making sure you obscure any personal info in any screenshots) will be helpful in tracking down any system issue.

I’ve had a few more contacts and been fine so I suspect you are right about too many button presses or refreshes. All good.
