At least in mobile.

I just gave up looking for estate cars because I was being flooded with Q this and ML that.

I sort of get it, a lot of sellers would list smaller SUVs as estates already (which was irritating enough) but, at the same time, I really want to filter them out.

Similar was asked a couple of months back including a reply from one of the PH team explaining why it's setup that way.

Tough to do, sadly. Our data comes from the DVLA and according to them an SUV is an estate.

We are looking into other ways around it, but for now that is the reason.

Just to be clear, we didn't merge SUV into Estate but rather added the text "SUV" to the "Estate" filter to make it clear where to find SUV's.

Like I said in the other thread we don't have the ability to differentiate between Estate and SUV in our back-end. We are aware that Autotrader (and many others) can do that and we are actively working towards being able to seperate out the data but at this time we have to rely on what comes back from the DVLA.
