Why does PH kill my WiFi?

My Virgin WiFi is hit & miss anyway but I can open most apps on my iPhone no problem, open PH on Safari & wi-fi drops out

It’s Ok when I have a strong signal but anywhere the signal is weaker it happens, but only to PH?
