Can’t post!

I’ve browsed PistonHeads for a couple of years, but only just created an account tonight. I’ve already made a few posts. Then I spent 30 minutes composing a post to the following thread:

Then when I clicked the big green button that said POST, it told me I couldn’t post to that forum for 14 days!

Suggestion: if someone isn’t allowed to post, do not show them an enabled large POST button!

It's a fair point though... If you can't post it should error *before* composing not after clicking submit.

As much as some are taking the piss, he does have a valid point.
If you can't post in a part of the forum why would it not say that before being able to create the post, not after? It's irrelevant as to how long the post took to write.

I also agree. I've discussed with the techies and it's doable but not a small piece of work, so I'll add it to our list but I can't promise any time frames right now.
