Why doesn't Ph TV work for me?

I realise this may be impossible to answer but your consideration would be appreciated.

Every time I try to watch a clip it runs with sound but the colours are so bad I can't see what is happening. It's as if only a few colours are used, usually red and green with some black and little definition.

I cam play video from other sites OK, streamed or save dfiles using RealPlayer. Is there something
I'm missing here?
