New forums and streamlining others

We've just released some updates to the forums, adding new forums requested by members and streamlining some others that aren't frequently used. Here are the most recent updates (some were added last year):

Marketplace

• Motorbikes, Motorsport, Motorhomes, Caravans, and Trailers, Parts and plates and Non-motoring added with the removal of these sections from the classifieds

Motorsport

• Karting and Rallying added
• Britcar, GT Racing, Dunlop Tuscan Challenge and Ginetta Racing collapsed into General Motorsport

Events

• Sunday Service, PistonHeads Sporting Tours, Classic Events, Big Northern Gathering, PistonFest and Vmax collapsed into Events & Meetings

Lotus

• Emira added
• EVs added

Ferrari

• Ferrari V6 added

Porsche

• EVs added

Other Marques

• Dacia added
• 'Volvo' changed to 'Volvo & Polestar'

And for consistency:

• 'Audi, VW, Seat & Skoda' changed to 'Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW'
• 'Rolls Royce & Bentley' changed to 'Bentley & Rolls Royce'

TVR

• Classics' renamed to 'TVR Classics'
• 'Major Mods' renamed to 'TVR Major Mods'

In Memoriam

• New section and forum added to remember lost PHers

So if you're only seeing your favourite forums, you may want to take a look and see what else is new. We'll move around some recent threads where relevant too. If you spot anything weird, please let us know!

Good to see additions and improvements taking place.

Any chance of 'Art & Antiques' being added to The Pie & Piston? I asked a few years ago but there didn't seem to be a way of asking contributors if it would be popular. There seems to be a lot of interest judging by questions and comments I've read from time to time in The Lounge.

Given the very limited traffic these days (if ever?), would it not make sense to merge Kit Cars, Ariel, Caterham, Classic Fibreglass, Ginetta, Marcos, Noble, Radical, Scimitar, Ultima and Zenos into one forum?
