Anti-flooding system
Discussion
Is there any way this can be given some leniency towards editing a post? A few times now I've posted something, read it back, and realised it needs a little tweaking. Yes, I know, preview box, learn to England, etc - but in the same way the system gives you a few minutes' leeway to edit a message before it adds an edited footnote, is there a possibility the anti-flooding system could do similar - i.e. you can have an edit per post that doesn't count against the flood?
Edit (coincidentally!) - I'm sure this used to be more lenient back in the past as I've only noticed it in the past few months. And yes, I got caught in the anti-flooding system.
Interestingly, once I'd edited this message, I went to edit it a second time and there was no anti-flooding system message. Same for a third time.

I've been noticing this too - go to edit a post shortly after posting it and the anti-flooding system won't let me edit it straight away.
Mind you PH still randomly logs me out a couple of times a week and PH have never bothered fixing that problem after however many years either, so I wouldn't hold your breath for a solution.
