logging on every time

I have nbeen a PH member for over a decade but recently I have to re-logon every time i access the forum.

Is there a fi?.

It's obviously not a huge issue, but it's a bit like your front door shutting and locking every time you step outside and have to unlock the door to get back in.

I'm getting that too !!
Used to check a box to keep logged in.
If it helps I often browse cars to buy and if you favourite one you need to be signed in, for some reason I click the heart to go to red and I'm logged in !!
If this sounds silly maybe it's my phone remembering previous attempts..

I used to just click my PH link in firefox/safari on my imac and instant login. Not now.

I have to click "sign in" every time if I've had the browser closed, but it remembers the credentials for a couple of weeks before I have to type anything in.

What irritates me is that if I get to the page but don't sign in, it clearly knew it was me because it resets the "last visit" date and time and the "new responses" markers are all gone. As it therefore knew it was me, I don't see why I need to sign in, and if there really is a need for me to sign in, it shouldn't reset the last visit time.
