I was looking to post about a big road trip I did in the forums - both to show some PH-worthy content as well as offer advice to others possibly looking to book similar trips.

Before I spend an age writing it all out and uploading what looks to be over 200 photos, is there a character limit in an original post? Or limit to how many pictures can be put into a single post?

I can't answer your questions but couldn't you split it into chapters? I think it would make it much more readable than a single mega-post.

Chapters is an excellent idea - and would also lessen the damage if a someone quoted my OP in their reply! hehe

Good luck with uploading 200 images one by one....

Unfortunately the antiquated image uploader doesn't support batch uploading...

As a part time web developer, I can say with confidence that the code for batch uploads is trivial.

Simple approach is to bulk upload to imgbb and then pick the embed code.

But yes, the fact that PH are perfectly capable of proving multi image upload for classifieds and auctions but can’t be bothered to do the same for the forums is tiresome.

You can post multiple pictures into one post but unfortunately they have to be added one by one.
You will need to put a return in between each upload otherwise only the first picture will be displayed.

The thumbsnap image hoster PH uses mangles image quality anyway if you care about that, better to use something else like flickr and hotlink images in with bbcode.
