Mass Nested Quoting
Discussion

Now that the w
es have (unfortunately) been resolved, can the mods now get their minds out of the gutter & look in to prodding that one part-time Dev to tweak nested quoting, so it is easier to make out who said what . . .
There was a relevant thread but can’t be arsed to find it
Don't really see it as a problem.

Would it be better if we put our names in the boxes?

Really not seeing the issue here.. in many cases the "quote all" is key to understanding context of the quoted post
Yes, it can end up taking a lot of screen space when yiu get multiple quote alla, but this is better in my mind than not being able to quote all when needed
Quote and Quote all is not really the issue. The issue is the nested bubble type thing. I hated this since it started years ago and still do especially when the post gets lengthy! There are many times that my brain just can't compute.Yes, it can end up taking a lot of screen space when yiu get multiple quote alla, but this is better in my mind than not being able to quote all when needed
Could a mod or anybody find (i'm useless using the 'way back machine') a good example of the old method we used to use?
It would be useful for people to compare and maybe understand the issue.

Why it was changed . . . I have no idea.
Unfortunately - the "quote all" is actually very useful when PH'rs put their reply before the quoted section - the std "quote" thing doesn't work so well then but "quote all" does

Removing the "quote all" button completely would do it. I'm sure they can find a dev capable of that one.
"Quote" you just get this
"Quote All" you get all of it
