PIC and IMG tags

It's possible to post a picture in the forum using either PIC or IMG tags. The forum image uploader uses IMG, and when you quote a post which has IMG tags they automatically change to THUMB so you get thumbnails in the quoted post. This does not happen for PIC tags, so you can end up with multiple full size images in quoted posts, which can be quite annoying when you're having to scroll past the same images multiple times. You can manually change them when you quote a post, but most people do not.

Is it possible to make PIC tags automatically become THUMB when quoted?
