Deleted comments emails

For some reason, a comment of mine has been removed, no idea which one

Why do you bother emailing to say you’ve removed one but not actually what comment it was?

As far as I’m concerned none of my comments were spam?

I've just had the following one:-

PH e-mail said:

Your post has been deleted for engaging in argumentative behavior and derailing threads, which disrupts the community and violates point 3 of our Rules of Posting.

...which is an utter joke as if you've ever been in the NP&E or Lounge fora then you'll know that it's full of arguments and some occasionally rather unpleasant posting/posters. And my deleted posts were polite and factual - debate rather than argument.

(The posts were O/T in fairness, but I didn't start that bit)

I'm amazed at the sad sacks that feel the need to RTM any comments at all. It's only the internet + who cares what strangers think.

Your post has been deleted due to you quoting a post that was in breach of our rules of posting.

A post of yours that quoted a post removed due to a breach of the rules has also been removed.

It doesn't mean that you broke the rules, but that the quoted post that did had to be removed.
