History forum - trying again

Hi mods - some time ago, and for the life of me I can’t find the original posts, but I do remember Rileyblue was also supporting, we asked for a sub-forum for history. Otherwise people end up posting those topics in the science subforum (obviously there is a crossover with archaeology etc).

I seem to remember that this would be considered - any conclusion? Sorry if I have inadvertently missed it.

ETA: I found it. Ben, you said it had been flagged up with the chief hamsters. Any news?

Maybe reply in that thread & come Monday click on report & a mod can bump it again

My original idea from years back was for 'Art & Antiques' though its scope could easily be expanded.

I'll put my hand up and say I discussed this with the mods and completely forgot to do anything off the back of it but the consensus was a new History forum and a new Arts & Antiques forum too, if everyone is happy with that?
