Photos not uploading properly

Don’t know if anyone else is having this issue but it’s happening to me more and more now.

Go to upload an image to a post. Choose the image as normal and upload. It doesn’t upload the image instead it’s just a black box and when you preview or post the black box becomes a blue question mark box.

If I then remove that image and take a screenshot of the photo in my photo library and upload that screenshot it works fine every time.

Totally intermittent doesn’t happen with every photo on every post. iPhone 16 used

Is it the size? Make sure you click the little toggle switch bottom right when you’re gonna select your photo, and choose small or medium

Will give that a go next time I post. Could be feasible as the screenshot would be smaller size. 1990s forum software with 2025 photos I guess
