We made a PistonHeads app!

Yes, it has finally happened. After years of squinting at the site in your mobile browser, you can now browse PistonHeads properly on your phone. The brand new PistonHeads app is here.

This first version is all about buying. Whether you are hunting down a hero car in the classifieds or eyeing up a future classic at auction, the app makes it easier to search, save and stay on top of what is trending.

Speaking of trending, you will find a new Trending section in Search, plus the option to get notifications for saved searches and listings you are keeping an eye on. The Forums are in there too, although we will be honest, they are not a fully native experience just yet. That is on the roadmap (we promise this time).

This is version Mark 1, so think of it as the base model. We will be adding more features as we go, and we would love your input to help shape what comes next. Kick the tyres, take it for a spin and let us know what works and what does not. Tap the feedback link here to share your thoughts — constructive, chaotic or otherwise.

Chuckling at the apostrophes comment (I think I did that right l, omitting the “ ‘ “ in ‘apostrophes’), but that aside, good to see this development.

It's works on my pixel fine at first glance. I wouldn't use it for the forum as it's more or less the same thing but a bit more squashed. I wish we had a dark version

Yep, completely understandable. We will be making the forums native soon, possibly early next year.

It will since the forums experience for now is a mobile wrapper for the web forums. When we build this natively the apostrophe problem will be fixed.

Great to see this has finally happened.

Just a shame it's taken so long as an app for the classifieds should have been around years ago, could have given auto trader some good competition.
