If admin deletes a post for some reason does the poster get notified and given an explanation etc?
I ask as I replied to a post in the Prince Andrew thread and I noticed some other replies to the same post. My post and the other replies have disappeared.
I can't see the post in my "My Replies" section of my profile but it was definitely there yesterday.
I know that it is Hallowe'en but I wonder why my post has mysteriously disappeared with no trace it was ever there.
My reply wasn't controversial or inappropriate, neither was the post I was replying to. (It was in reply to "the" picture showing Andrew with Virginia Giuffre).

The short answer is yes, but not always. If a thread is ‘pruned’ (I.e - all posts after a certain point deleted in a bulk fashion) you may not get a notification.
FWIW I can’t see any posts from you in the logs of that thread (assuming you mean this one - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... ) that have been removed
If you can give me an approx day/time you think you made the post I can have a further look.
