Image uploads from Photos on Mac

Over the last few days I've not been able to upload images from the "Photos" library on my Mac. I am able to upload from Photos on my iPhone, or indeed other photos from Safari on Mac (for example the error message below).



My Mac is running macOS 26.5.2, but I can't say if this issue started on a particular version of macOS.
