Hi,

Not sure if this has always been a "feature" of PH but it's really starting to get on my wick recently - for example, when a really long URL is posted and everything on that page is then effectively on a 200 column page that needs scrolling! Annoying if you only have a 17" CRT!

Is there any way that 1) each post could have its own independant width as I have seen on some forums, or preferably 2) the forum software detects it and wraps it (but leaves the link unbroken)?

Even more annoying is when somebody quotes the link in the second page of the thread and it happens for the whole fo the second page too!

I agree. If only people could learn to use the formatting codes correctly or even use tinyurl instead.
