Editing adverts v security & privacy

If you want to edit or remove a classified advert on PH, your now asked for your private email account password. Why does PH need access to my personal email account? I'm not in the habit of providing these details to anyone in the recent climate of internet fraud. :cop:

Your private email account password is no use to me at all.

It's asking you for the password that you placed on the advert when you entered it.
