didnt know exactly where to put this so thought i might as well put it here.

in may i purchased a pistonheads smily sticker and 2 pistonheads.com 9 inch stickers, all in white.

thought about applying them to the 182 and was just wondering how they go on? i know im supposed to peel the backing off, then stick on, but what do i do with the grid thats on top. does that peel away as well?

also what are they like for removing? they wont ruin the paint or anything will they?

cheers

Yeah they go on by peeling one part of the backing off, then you stick the whole sheet to the car and smooth out, then after putting decent pressure onto it, the white vinyl itself will stick to the car and you can peel away the grid part..

Not sure but there shouldn't be anything in it to damage the paint at all... and not quite sure how hard it is to remove. Depends how long you have the stickers on the bodywork, but I expect it might be one of those fiddly annoying slow jobs

Dave.

cheers for that dave, thats the only part i was worried about, taking them off, as i dont know whether i'd be able to get the residue off that would be left behind, sure they wont do any damage though

my profile pic showa a few stickers on the car. they come off dead easy and if there is any probs, heat them up - either in the sun or with a hairdryer - and they come off even easier. when I took mine off i was left with a couple of patches from the stripes but a bit of soapy water got rid of them. as far as i'm concerned, no problem.

I had had vinyls on my previous car for about 3 or 4 years and they came off leaving no damage. A hairdryers makes removal easier and a bit of petrol or white spirit soon shifts any glue residue
