'Whats new' not working

When I used to click on 'whats new' I would only see the sections that I wanted to view. Now I get everything that's new, including all tiv stuff that I've turned off in my profile thingy. What's going on? Can we have the old version please.

Dear oh dear. Made a bit of a dog's dinner of testing that one didn't I?

I've tested it more thoroughly this time so I think I'm on top of it. Let me know if there are any anomolies (ok bugs) still.
