Couple of suggestions

Hi,

A couple of things have occurred to me recently while using the site and I wondered how easy they would be to sort if anybody agreed...

1) when you go to post and you're not logged in, it takes you to the login screen, but once logged in there is no option to take you to the forums or back to the post you were reading, or to continue with the post you wanted to make. The best you can do is back up a couple of pages and then post.

2) when long URLs are posted it's a real pain to have to scroll backwards and forwards for the whole page - any way it can be automatically truncated if it exceeds 80 columns or something? Especially annoying if I'm using my laptop (ancient thing with an 800x600 screen and one of those Toshiba "nipple" mouse things!

3) from your "menu" you can easily alter your profile, but not view it - for that you seem to have to find one of your posts and then click on your name which is a bit ungainly!

Apologies if I am being thick on any of these issues but just things that occurred to me

There's usually a "return" link, which puts you back exactly where you were.
