Wasted space?

While the text and graphics are plain and easy on the eye, I think perhaps too much space is wasted thus making it more unfriendly with the amount of scrolling required. There are large margins, big fat headings, etc that seem to be taking up space that could be condensed a little more to lessen the scrolling and to introduce better promotion of features for instance.

and having no signutures at the bottom of each post saves loads of space and makes the whole page nice and coherent.
