Another forum I post on (www.straightdope.com ) has a system where when you quote a post, only the most recent post gets quoted, so instead of -

Looks much neater, though they have big problems with bandwidth so may have introcuduced it to cut that down.

Yeah I post on a clio forum that has that style system, but sometimes you can't make head nor tail of what has been said, as the other quoted message might be a page away!

Sounds a good idea to me
It has advantages and disadvantages. I prefer the style on here though as you can read the quoted messages to find out whats going on.
