after posting on a topic, and pressing return to forum, about 50% of the time it returns to a page timed at 02:55 in general gassing, and 0327 in pie and piston.
i'm also getting quite a few oops topic not founds, this goes when i try again.
is this likely to be my end, or a little glitch with the forum?

Just came in here to report it and when clicking on this thread all I got was:

Oops...

Sorry, that topic is not available

Yep, same here. Going to My Stuff and clicking on a link to a topic I started yesterday sometimes takes me to it with no replies, and sometimes I see the replies from this morning. Also getting the topic not found messages.

I just pressed 'post reply' and got 'Ooops....'

It's also odd when I refresh in 'my contributions' - keeps refreshing to an out of date(?) time...

Someone definitely wrong.

Some topics come up as "Oops" or else out of date and need a Ctrl-refresh to come right.
Likewise with "What's New?"

I've seen this before in the past and PetrolTed fixed it. Looks like whatever the problem was has re-manifested. It could be that he's running clustered servers and they've got out of sync with each other, but that's only a guess.

Yep I'm getting topic not found stuff when I click refresh and I'm in a topic etc... which is nice!

There's me thinking it was just me being thick! Doubtless there are techies running around Ted's office shouting "reboot, reboot" as I write this.

Indeed. The writing's starting to wear thin on mine from today's usage.

I suspect the hamsters need changing.
