A strange and slightly sad email but I was wondering what this site is run on and how you learnt to write asp etc Ted as yours appears to be one of the few sites around written and run by the same person.

Steady, thats Blasphemey to question the almighty!!

I agree though, it's very rare to see good technical skill coupled with superb journalism (sp). I run the Northants TVRCC website, doing the graphics, HTML, ASP - no problem at all, but I'm buggered when it comes to content!!, since me englush aint any good

Hats off to Ted

Ted doesn't use Windows, he sits in a darkened room with screens full of glyphs scrolling around.

Here are some stills that were leaked from a new ITV1 dramatisation of Ted's life:

This is familiar German, as I didn't know the English term. Let me try: Ulibe - upper lips beard = moustace (Manta drivers used to have them, and people use this abbrevation to characterize the archtype)
There are really dodgy ones as well, but I won't blab them here

Oh no... I used to have a Manta, but I must emphasise that my boat is devoid of facial hair!

Ted when did you have the Manta?

It was actually late 80s / early 90s when Manta-jokes became popular here. The Manta-driver archetype shows similarities to today's PaxMower-lad, I'm afraid
But I understand, that Mantas were not the same in the UK then, because Opel wasn't boyracer's first choice

At that time Manta-jokes were more popular than Helmut Kohl-jokes:
What's left, when a Manta is torched out? A whining blond hairdresser and a piece of gold jewellery.

Nice one Bonce! I've been watching that film all week...

:lmao::wakingupthewholehouseholddadappearsatthedoormostunimpressed:

So it's true that the Opel Manta was Germmany's (and Holland's) Essex boy owned [delboy]Ca-pri Ghia[/delboy]?

excellent Bonce - thanks for giving me a larf this morning.

BTW I always wanted a Manta - one of them 'Exclusive' ones. IMHO was the best looking car on the road in its day.

Is Ted really the same block that used to be in Kung Fu?
