Marking as read

I like the idea of being able to mark all threads as read from the main page, very usefull.

However is it possible to make this work for each forum individually as well? The reason I ask is the some days the level of posts and the fact that I have to do some work means that I can't just sit and carzee through the whole lot in one go, therefore if I could read all of Gen Gassing for example and then mark that it would help.

The way it works currently I won't be able to do that. I will bear that in mind though when I get around to doing some restructuring.

I generally click "What's New?" and work my way up through the threads that interest me.

Sometimes I have to stop before I have caught up, so I'd quite like to be able to mark as read all posts up to a given time rather than the current time.

ie. "Mark as read all threads whose most recent post is less than or equal to the specified time".
