Recommendations

I notice that in some people's profiles, they have a tab for 'recommendations'.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to make a 'recommendation'.

Further, two related questions ...

• Are all the 'recommendations' kept somewhere? (can't seem to find anything like this).

• Are there any guidelines for making a 'recommendation'? e.g. not for commercial ventures / companies.

The reason for my question is that I've just received some outstanding service from a certain motor sports parts supplier and I'd like to share my experience. Maybe just a post in general would be most appropriate.

Any thoughts / guidance welcome.
