Is it possible to have a viewed counter for a poster to see how many times people have looked at a topic? It'd be nice, especially when asking for advice to see if anyones actually looked at the topic (especially when you have zero replies).
Down side is I've seen on other forums is the original poster then moaning about how many views it's had with no replies, not thinking that the people viewing look, can't help so don't post.
I also think that it can discourage people from posting as it makes it feel less personal.
If you know you're likely to be watched by 200 people then it might make you slightly reticent.

Yeah, it really serves no purpose. I mean, if you've seen that 27 people have looked at your thread. What are you going to do? Bitch that 27 people have looked but not written anything? I know I would.
