Having had to corrupt my beautfiul nickname with these horrible underscore characters for far too long, I thought I'd do a little search for the "dobbo" who has stolen my name and prevented me from using it.

However the member directory doesn't contain a "Dobbo", so I tried to change my name but I can't because it says that member already exists...

So that rambling brings me round to my question, who is this invisible dobbo, and if he's gone can I have my name back?

Odd. There's a dobboMK1 but no dobbo that I can see.

I'm pdV6 because when I registered there was a 3 character minimum so I couldn't have "PD" that I wanted.
The restriction seems to have been lifted now but its rather too late to change I feel.

Begging the question: what makes a member an 'active member'?

Ok, my definition wasn't strictly accurate.

Members are listed in the directory if they add something to their profile such as notes, cars, website or contribute to the forums.

oops i clicked on the missing dobbos profile and have accidentally added him as a friend, oops, how do i remove it?

if you go to your mates list - beside each one is a trash can.

Click on the bin next to the one you want removed.
