Just a quick thought...

To give the spelling police some time off occasionally, would it be possible to include some sort of spellcheck facility?

Obviously, this could be seen to be assisting the continual dumbing down of the English language but it could help some.

Yay/neigh?

It's a good thought.......but...

...Spell check only works if you remember to use it.

The spelling police are also the grammar police.

People will always find something to complain about.

This one been muted before IIRC Ted said that it would take up a lot of valuable bandwidth.

I normally type out the message and then cut a paste into word. It's a bit of faffing around but it works for me.

BTW hope I’ve spelt faffing correctly?

Bandwidth isn't the issue. I just happen to believe that you getter a better sense of character from slightly imperfect posts, rather than word perfekt inglish.
