PH slow to load...my pc or other prob ?

When I click my faves button to come to PH, in the bottom lh corner of my browser (FF) it says ....looking up mediauk.247real media.com, and PH home and forum pages take 10/15 seconds to respond.

All other websites work fine.

Is this normal or have I got some spyware crap ?

Have scanned with ad aware and spybot if it is......

I get the same problem intermittently.

That's one of the ad servers we use.

It may be slow to load. Can be worth hitting refresh sometimes if that happens. I do get it occasionally.

Whichever ad-server is causing the problem it is certainly affecting me as well. PH can take 30 seconds to load the main page and the same again for forum pages. Only affects PH and I'm on an 8mb line.

I've been getting "connection failed" intermittently all evening for www.pistonheads.com itself.

This is really getting annoying. I'd say I'm having problems with PH loading about 70% of the time now.

Whenever it takes longer than usual, it's always that connection for me.

I agree 100% and yes, its always real media.

Sorry to say bit PH is getting to be a PITA to load, Im starting to load it up and finish reading eurodragster whilst it loads these days.Once loaded is fine, but I reckon its now a min 30/40 secs before loading.

Sorry about that. I have been on to the agency but to no avail so far.

I'll run some tests of my own and see if I can prove the delays.

Ive just about got over the site being down the other morning.Big panic attack....no ph. means Ive got to work !!!!
