Thread owner editing options

Due to the increasing number of so called "comedians" posting drivel on even the most serious discussion threads. Would it be possible for thread owners to have a facility to be able to delete the offending posts please? ( )

Is there still a genuine problem with Topics going OT within half a dozen posts or less, and the "usual suspects" turning even the most serious debate into "comedy hour" or worse into a personal attack and willy waving exercise.

I know we have been here before but it doesn't seem to have got any better and I actually feel sorry for the Mods at having to try and keep a handle the outbreak...

I do now have the facility to ban individuals from specific threads so just let us know if you think someone's ruining your thread.

To be fair Neil Cardiff did a stirling job on one of my threads and we got back on track.

That is good to know though.
