For each forum you are in, hit the about button.

It won't show an exhaustive list, rather the Mod in Charge of the forum.

Thanks Neil, I think it would be a good idea for mods to have an M next to their name when posting in threads, so we would know when we were talking to someone who could close the thead. And no, it hasn't happened to me. John

Mine never have, or would be, but Iv'e noticed some threads get closed for what is seemingly no reason. If we knew the mods and a bit of back ground, the closing of threads may make more sense.

That's more of an issue about us communicating why threads are closed than needing to flag who the mods are all the time.

We do, but its merely a place where we can discuss and decide how best to decide with certain situations etc.

Its also where we are made aware of the abuse reports - all Mods are able to see when one is created, so this means that usually there is always a Mod on duty who can react to any problems.

No it wasn't

There is no 'mod list', simply. You all have an idea I'm sure of who some are - doesn't mean you should react to them in any different way. A moderator's job is simply to maintain the rules of the site; just because you disagree with one matters not a jot. If you break the rules though, that's when tye step in.

I think that its usually pretty obvious why a thread is closed/removed!
