Mine never have, or would be, but Iv'e noticed some threads get closed for what is seemingly no reason. If we knew the mods and a bit of back ground, the closing of threads may make more sense.

We do, but its merely a place where we can discuss and decide how best to decide with certain situations etc.
Its also where we are made aware of the abuse reports - all Mods are able to see when one is created, so this means that usually there is always a Mod on duty who can react to any problems.

No it wasn't
There is no 'mod list', simply. You all have an idea I'm sure of who some are - doesn't mean you should react to them in any different way. A moderator's job is simply to maintain the rules of the site; just because you disagree with one matters not a jot. If you break the rules though, that's when tye step in.
