Have to say the pics on the classified are better now. You go onto the pic and then it has the numbers in the bottom right to click straight onto another pics. Much better instead of closing down window and opening up another one.

I have only just noticed this so if it has been up for a while...sorry spin

Happy to hear any suggestions for that part of the sight. It's quite an exciting part of the site right now so I'm keen to provide any bells and whistles that may be of use.

Ted, I like it too, especially the picture switcher on the bottom. One thing though: I have switched off the window resizing by JS in my browser, because not all websites use it as sensible as PH (for fitting to the image size that is). Is there any chance to dimension the window on server side rather than by javascript?

I'll see if there's a sensible default size.

Just noticed this - works well thumbup

From a personal point of view one thing I would like to see is the ability to put links in the advert text that show further pictures of the car in a new browser window. I've tried to do this in my advert using the [url] coding but it brings it up the pics in the same window - therefore if the viewer closes the window they lose the original advert window. If that makes sense? silly

Edited to say: there again if I could be bothered to get off my arse and sort out some webspace/site I could just post a link to the pictures rolleyes

Seems to be broken on my Firefox setup. The pic comes up for an instant then the popup closes.

I've tried safe mode enabling popups, disabling firewalls etc.

Just noticed: the first pic on this www.pistonheads.com/sales/93764.htm advert doesn't show the bottom. The window is landscape 640px wide, but the picture is portrait orientation 640px wide, so I only see to top half of that pic. nerd

Works well too, as soon as I allow JS-resizing of windows.

Firefox 1.5.x on Linux BTW

1.5.0.6

Actually it behaved that way before (momentary popup pic on a left click) but I was able to work round it by opening the pic in a new tab (middle click) and thats not possible now.

Strange. I'm using exactly the same version.

I'll give it some thought.
