I really think I may be losing the plot but have any of you guys noticed that there is no 964 category on the classifieds? I am desperately trying to sell my cab on there but when I scroll down to look there appears to be all but that category upfront until you click on Porsche itself and I see it there. Maybe it really is the forgotten 911 model!!! I'll check it out with Pistonheads direct but wondered if anyone else has had this problem and also any advice on where else to advertise the model? The sense of urgency is a 993 Turbo coming soon (I know, poor me) and one small garage plus one aggravated wife....!

There is a bug in the system that causes random categories to disappear periodically!

I'm desperately trying to get a handle on it!

Or just have a 'Porsche' section, and let all the 'different' cars go in one big, soulless group.

Just been looking into a category that mentions 'No pictures' on adverts. There's loads with no pics, particularly on Porsche 911 section. Checked a few others too and they have disappeared. Noticed this happens quite a lot. Hmmm

Which category? I'll check it out.

It was pretty much all of them Ted, particularly 964, 'pre-89'.

Cheers

Thanks.

Please could you clarify exactly what you mean. What or where is saying 'no pictures'. Are you getting red 'x's or is something saying 'no pictures' explicitly?

Sorry Ted, but they appear to be showing OK now. I have checked a few categories and they are all showing the pics fine.
What was happening earlier was there was just text with no picture (no box with a red X, I know what you meant by that). When opening the ad up it was the same, just txt. It may have been just a temp server fault that has sorted itself or something. I thought it may have ben my comp but I remember having the same experience when viewing with the PC at work. Will let you know if it happens again for a prolonged period.

Thanks
