Can someone enlighten me as to what exactly happened?

I'm puzzled regarding how it was dealt with and the motives behind the moderation.

No problem my end; I'd just like to understand what the score is with occurrences such as this.

Thanks,

Eric

A sensible request was ridiculed and the poster scared away from the site. It degenerated to the point where I just deleted it as there wasn't much left to save.

Shame that someone has been scared away like this, particularly someone from the media. It's good for PH to encourage relationships with other companies, not scare them off with a bad experience

Thanks Ted - that's what I reckoned had happened.

It's a tough call though I guess.

If someone, who's completely legit, posts - and their grammar / eloquence makes it appear that they're not quite the full shilling then ...

We saw similar with a certain, well intentioned, individual in the KC forum a while ago.

Don't envy having to make such decisions.

Cheers,

Eric

Problem is there was nothing wrong with the posters grammar or eloquence, just some PHers taking the "student wanting to make a homework shortcut" piss out of him.
