New / old posts symbol missing

When I have the Gassing station page up there are no red or yellow post symbols displayed. They appear in the topics but only as yellow.

If it is a red case then yes.

That's the image served from the main page. If you can access that file then I'm not sure why you can't see it on certain pages.

Do we have our own roaming profiles when we log in?

This problem is the same whether I am on my home pc or work one. I have also just noticed that I don't see the 'new post' blue bar that appears in threads when I log back in.

Any suggestions? I have tried logging off and back in but still the same.

Pretty much, yes. Everything should work the same assuming you're logged in.

I have the same problem today both at home and work. No indicators at the side of the forum names. I haven't changed anything on either machine.
I did get an error message this morning at about 06:00 saying that there was a problem with the site and that the administrators were aware. The problem only appeared to affect the Gassing Station with no forums available.

Clearly there is a problem Ted as I have this 'glitch' too.

Update: I just re-logged in and I now get the red new posts icon against the individual posts in the forums but not on the gassing station page telling me which forums to look in for new posts.

Same here. Each forum works but the main gassing station listing doesn't show any.

Nope. Just to clarify, it's not that just the "new posts" icon isn't displaying, it's that neither are. Ie there's no folder at all to the left of the forum name, irrespective of folder type/colour.

The table cell just as a non breaking space tag in it, nothing else. Both IE and Firefox btw, although I wouldn't expect to see a difference unless you test for browsers and tailor the output accordingly.

I still have the problem too. Being entirely non technical when it comes to IT, may I offer a simple observation?
In all of the forums, there is space for the extra column showing the icons to the left of the topic heading. However on the view that I now have of Gassing Station, there is no room to the left of the forum titles, almost as if the viewable area is set too wide to see the extra columns to the left.
Told you that I was non technical!

As Graham pointed out, it's actually to do with the way the 'last visit' is being recorded.

I tweaked that over the weekend and it's broken this
