There's 200 cars in there at the moment so it makes for tricky browsing...

I reckon most people will be looking specifically for an E30, E36, E46 or CSL, so it would make a lot of sense to split it by specific model, just as has been done with the 911.

Yep, happy to consider that. Do most owners know whether they have an E36 or an E46?

Could always give clues. i.e. E30 (1986-1991) E36 (1992-1997) or somesuch. Trouble is you'd need to know the exact dates, just like i don't.

and then theres exceptions

ie. Touring and convertible models do not match models of coupe etc (taking more about 3 series in general)

Ted, if an M3 owner does not know if its an e30, e36, e46, they should recieve a lifetime ban from the site.
