slowness..?

Is it me or is "Whats New" running really slowly tonight?

Other sites that I use seem to be ok, so I don't think it's my connection..

I have just tried it several times for a test and it takes me around 4-5 seconds for a refresh.

Is that the norm?

Nope, should be up in less than a second. You may get the occasional glitch, but that should be the norm.

I work for a company with a very large online presence and realise all of the many problems there can be when it comes down to preformance i.e. Databases, infrastructure, internet latency, client PC's and the list goes on!.

Well done for creating such a well designed site though! I realise how hard it is to achieve the level you have achieved with this site
