Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right place but am not sure who or how to contact anybody about this. I donated some money to the wonderful Richard Hammond appeal and applied for a Heli Ted on 19th Oct and still have not had my ted! It could have something to do with the Royal Mail as they are not great at telling me I have a parcel and keep them, but just in case some thing has gone wrong please can the people who have organised this contact me or respond so I can get my heli ted (it is a present for my God daugher).

Thank you
Elspeth

I believe TB and WVM and the team are waiting for address labels to be printed.. there are hundreds that need to be sent so saves many, many hours of hand written labels.

Could postage be saved by handing them out to the right folks at BT&P?

I'll happily take a bunch and go find owners - or sit in the corner of the bar and wait for folk to come to me.

elspeth,

I believe UncleDave is right - there has been a small delay on the address labels front. So I wouldn't worry, they all do a great job!

This is the link for the Richard Hammond Air Ambulance Appeal www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=309131&f=141&h=0&p=275
you could post a message here for the attention of Tallbloke(Roger) or click on name to see his profile, then click on "e-mail me" to send him an e-mail.

In fact - TB says exactly what's happening at the top of that link!

At 10am this morning Tall Bloke said:
The MAil merge will be prepared this week and the Heli-Teds will be scrambled for countrywide destinations ASAP!

Thank you very much - I did think that it might have been something like that but I like to check as my postie isn't the best as has been known to either post a recorded delivery letter without a signature, leave letters half in the slot so you can remove them from out side and (what i thought could have happened) not told me I had a parcel at the sorting office!

I shall wait patiently for Heli Ted.
